As the head of financial administration, Carmen is responsible for managing financial reporting and accounting for Nicola Real Estate' assets under management.
With over 25 years of experience in financial management in the real estate industry, she has a diverse background that encompasses office, retail, industrial, residential, and development projects. Carmen is skilled in purchase and sale transactions, reporting for various ownership structures, corporate reporting, and compliance, as well as system controls.
Carmen joined Nicola Real Estate in 2010 and has been instrumental in the company's financial success. Prior to her role at Nicola Real Estate, Carmen served as Vice President Finance at PenEquity Realty Corporation and as Accounting Manager at Oxford Properties. She obtained her Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation at KPMG and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
