Victoria Ko joined the Toronto office as a Wealth Planning Associate with nearly a decade in the financial industry.
She is a graduate of Queen’s University with a double major in Economics and French and started her Wealth Management career right after graduation at HollisWealth and then at Raymond James as a bilingual Financial Advisor. Victoria continued to specialize in financial planning at Scotia Wealth Management and Richardson GMP where she was a Financial Planning Associate and Analyst, respectively. Her experience at the National Head Office for both Scotia and Richardson also allowed her to further develop her leadership and coaching skills as she mentored various Advisors and audited their retirement plans on the Naviplan platform.
Victoria’s passion for Finance then took her for a detour into the Fashion industry where she was a Finance Manager at a start-up, SoViolette, and subsequently, Audit Associate at Holt Renfrew. During the pandemic, she delved into her entrepreneurial spirit, started her own business, and incorporated federally as VKO Financial Inc. Her vision is to educate and empower millennials to become financially literate by providing services such as tax filing, cash flow planning and basic financial planning.
Throughout her career, she has upheld her belief that working with clients requires you to be accountable not only to the clients but also to the team. Of utmost importance is to create a strong client experience with every interaction, while also collaborating with peers.
Outside of work, Victoria is a content creator for Lean In Toronto, which is a community of professional women empowering each other to build purposeful and fulfilling careers and enjoys a highly active lifestyle through boxing.
